Ingredients

  • 4 sheets of puff pastry 1
  • 500g beef mince
  • 500g sausage mince
  • tsp onion flakes
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 green apple. grated
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) worcester sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk

Directions

  1. Lay puff pastry out to thaw
  2. Whisk egg and milk, put aside for now
  3. Combine carrot, apple, sauces, and meats
  4. Divide into 8 lengths
  5. Cut puff pastry in half
  6. Place meat along the middle of puff pastry sheet
  7. Brush egg mixture onto puff pastry sheet to act like glue
  8. Roll up pastry to enclose filling.
  9. Brush egg mixture over top of sausage rolls
  10. Cut into smaller pieces
  11. Cook in oven for 25-30 minutes
