- 4 sheets of puff pastry 1
- 500g beef mince
- 500g sausage mince
- tsp onion flakes
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 green apple. grated
- 1/4 cup (60ml) worcester sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
Directions
- Lay puff pastry out to thaw
- Whisk egg and milk, put aside for now
- Combine carrot, apple, sauces, and meats
- Divide into 8 lengths
- Cut puff pastry in half
- Place meat along the middle of puff pastry sheet
- Brush egg mixture onto puff pastry sheet to act like glue
- Roll up pastry to enclose filling.
- Brush egg mixture over top of sausage rolls
- Cut into smaller pieces
- Cook in oven for 25-30 minutes
